Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using GroovePilot (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Juan David Guerrero Castro, an individual entrepreneur (persona natural) based in Colombia ("GroovePilot," "we," "us").

2. The Service

GroovePilot provides AI-assisted tools for music producers, including: mix analysis, real-time Mix Score, AI chat advice, and MIDI pattern generation. The Service is accessed via the GroovePilot web application at app.groovepilot.co and a VST3 plugin for Ableton Live.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Plans and Billing

GroovePilot offers a Free plan and paid plans (Pro, Studio). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via LemonSqueezy. Prices are displayed at groovepilot.co/pricing and may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are provided at our discretion for unused time within 7 days of a charge if you contact us at hello@groovepilot.co.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models or system prompts
• Circumvent plan limits through automation, shared accounts, or other means
• Upload audio files that you do not have the right to process
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission
• Send abusive, harassing, or illegal content through the chat feature

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of any audio you upload and any MIDI patterns generated for you. By using the Service, you grant GroovePilot a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your audio solely to provide the analysis results.

Audio files are deleted immediately after analysis and are never stored permanently. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You must have the rights to any audio you upload. We are not liable for any copyright infringement resulting from content you submit.

7. AI Outputs

AI-generated advice (mix diagnoses, chat responses, MIDI patterns) is provided for informational and creative purposes only. GroovePilot does not guarantee that AI outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for evaluating and applying any AI advice.

8. Availability and Changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Material changes to paid features will be communicated with at least 14 days' notice.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, design, brand elements, and documentation of GroovePilot are owned by or licensed to GroovePilot and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GroovePilot and its operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of revenue from music projects.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bogotá, Colombia, unless applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.

12. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
